AIDIO is an AI-powered mixing and mastering assistant distributed as a VST3 and AU plugin. The controller of your data is Rafael Bueno de Mesquita, trading as AIDIO / AIDIOMusic, Austria (contact: support@aidiomusic.ai). This policy covers the AIDIO and AIDIO Reader plugins and the aidiomusic.ai website.
Not a single sample of sound ever leaves your computer. The AIDIO plugin analyses your session locally. Raw audio, stems, samples, and project files are never uploaded under any circumstances. What is sent are numerical measurements derived from your session: loudness values, frequency balance readings, transient statistics. Numbers. Not sound.
Note: channel names you enter in your DAW and text you type into the AIDIO chat interface are stored as written. They are not audio, but they may contain project or artist names. This is explained further in the sections below.
AIDIO uses session data to train and improve its AI models. How this works depends on your plan.
Free tier. The free tier is provided in exchange for your session data being used for model training. This is the explicit condition of using AIDIO for free. You are not asked to "agree" to something optional: training is on and cannot be turned off on the free plan. If you want to use AIDIO without contributing to training, upgrade to a paid plan.
Paid tiers (Hobbyist, Producer, Studio). Training is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in plugin Settings. When training is off, the plugin does not write session data to the training path, and no training record is created for that session. This setting takes effect immediately and the server honours it.
BYOK (bring your own API key). Training is off by default. You are supplying your own compute; your sessions are not used for AIDIO model training unless you explicitly enable it.
When the plugin is running, it may send the following data:

Data may be processed and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with applicable law.
Under GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, VAT, and compliance on our behalf. Paddle has its own privacy policy. We do not store raw card numbers. Payments are processed by Paddle. The charge usually appears on your bank statement as PADDLE.NET* AIDIO.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. This version is v3. Material changes will be communicated via the plugin's in-app notification system and by updating the version number and date at the top of this page.
